The Bible is not merely literature. It is one of the most consequential documents in human history — a text that has shaped law, governance, ethics, education, and culture across civilizations and centuries. Religions draw from it, but the Bible itself transcends them all.
Korea holds one of the world's most vibrant Christian communities and carries a deep national commitment to literacy and education. Geographically positioned at the heart of Northeast Asia, Seoul is uniquely suited to host a center that serves all of Asia.
Establishing a world-class Museum of the Bible in Seoul is not merely a cultural project. It is Korea's calling.

On June 2, 1982, Bill Majors arrived in Seoul, ordained and commissioned by his home church in Oklahoma. Forty-four years later, he is still here — an Honorary Citizen of Seoul, a Korean citizen, and a man whose life's work has been building bridges between cultures, nations, and communities through the message of the Bible.
