Korea's remarkable national reverence for literacy, education, and Scripture — embraced across Catholic, Protestant, and diverse traditions who engage with the Bible — makes it one of the world's most fitting homes for a museum dedicated to the Bible. Geographically positioned at the heart of Northeast Asia, Seoul is uniquely suited to host a center that serves all of Asia.
Establishing a world-class Museum of the Bible in Seoul is not merely a cultural project. It is Korea's calling.

On June 2, 1982, Bill Majors arrived in Seoul, ordained and commissioned by his home church in Oklahoma. Forty-four years later, he is still here — an Honorary Citizen of Seoul, a Korean citizen, and a man whose life's work has been building bridges between cultures, nations, and communities through the message of the Bible.
